Pedicure Tools
If you are to run a beauty spa or a beauty salon, you’ll surely want to make sure that you’ll be using the necessary pedicure tools to keep up with your business operations and provide excellent customer service to your clients.
Aside from having the complete equipment, you have to make sure that the tools you are using are either up-to-date or complete when performing the necessary process for a full pedicure service. The usual pedicure tools that you will be needing are nail clippers, nipper, cuticle remover, nail brush, nail files, toe separators or pedicure sandals, towels and a basin. These are the essential tools you need for performing the basic procedures in cleaning, cutting and trimming the toenails.
However, before this process comes into place, there would also be one main procedure that has to be done when it comes to cleaning the feet, and this is where the spa session begins. Cleaning the feet of your customers would not need the pedicure tools mentioned above instead, it would require a basin with lukewarm water having several drops of smoothening and cleansing solutions such as Epsom salt solution. This would then help get rid of the dead skin cells present in the feet. Then you will be applying a foot scrub to brush and scrub the feet gently for a smoother and better appearance for your client’s feet.
After performing foot spa to your customer, that would be the time where you will be using the pedicure tools for cutting and shaping the nails. And then you will have to groom the toenails by adding a nail polish on those nails depending on what color the client wants or you may also apply french pedicure as the most common preference of customers when it comes to nail grooming.
Do not forget to take care of your pedicure tools accordingly. It is essential to disinfect these tools after every customer to make sure that you promote sanitation in your own salon. Customers would love you for doing this, and you can even gain there trust when you keep on doing this with them knowing.
Cleaning and disinfecting your pedicure tools would not only help prevent the spread of possible bacterial infection from one customer to another, but it would also prevent the spread of it from one feet to another. This is actually a proper way of promoting sanitary practices that will be beneficial to everybody’s health.
