The Importance of Getting Manicures

A lot of people (and not just men) wonder why women need to go through all that trouble in order to maintain great looking digits. Manicures can really be nice especially when one is really feeling out of place remember the character Elle Woods from the movie Legally Blonde, she drove to the nearest nail studio where they give the best manicures, why? She wanted to feel better, that’s why!

Women with very beautifully presented digits can be seen everywhere. Uh huh, just observe around you, there are photos of women with great manicured fingers who advertise everything from food products, cosmetics to health products. Everyone (and by everyone, this includes men as well) have their own reasons why they want to have perfect manicures and nails. A lot of women feel that having nicely done nails will improve their appearance and project a good image about their person. C’mon, you cannot tell me that you do not judge women with busted, chewed-up nails. Some women go for manicures because it costs far less than getting therapy. Do you know how much a good therapist charge these days, especially if one leaves in big cities like LA or New York? Morover these therapies are at best useless, while manicures give a sense of pride and healthy looking…

Everyone really wants to look very presentable, whether is a model, career woman or homemaker they all desire to look great. And it cannot be without frequent manicures.

You need to understand that one can even tell your age just by looking at your hands, so if do not take care of your hands and get manicures for your nails….(whispering:let’s just say, you be carrying around a billboard advertising how old you are) Unlike every other parts of the body like the face, hands are known to age rapidly. Wait a minute, with regular manicures, you do not only get to keep your nails clean and tidy, you also help to keep your hands younger looking (wink). Every feature of one’s hands is treated separately like a specific nail type. The cuticles are cared for with age defying oils and cream. The importance of getting manicures is not only about looking glamorous, which is what a whole lot of people associate with having their nails done, but it is really about the purpose associated with manicures. Nails are manicured in order to prevent them from cracking and chipping. A lot of women have to deal with household chores that involve heaving and light cleaning where they will have constant interaction with water; their nails tend to crack or chip. So when they go for manicures, it will protect their nails from cracking and chipping. Well, in addition, nails may chip because of insufficient calcium in the body.

Women who do not care much about getting their nails done sometimes change their minds and take manicures more seriously, especially when they are going to be in focus after their engagement. Just think about it, someone takes a look at your hands and says “Let me take a look at the beauty of that rock on your finger!” and you proudly lift up your hand but oh! Your hands look totally busted; trust me, ugly looking nails usually steal focus while healthy nails with manicures attract it!. You do not want to hear people saying stuff like “Gosh her nails are so ugly, I actually feel sorry for that poor ring!” or “Did you see her nails? Gee, she totally embarrassed that gorgeous ring!”. Obviously the above is only a fiction, but manicures give not only a good healthy look but pride as well. So lets care about our nails, the health and appearance, and use the appropriate manicures!
